Presentation Material “Analysis of PHP-KADA 2025 Decision: Court Considerations, PSU and Corrections to the Implementation of the 2024 Regional Elections”

The implementation of the 2025 PHP-Kada has been completed, as a result the Constitutional Court canceled the election results in 25 regions with orders for the implementation of PSU in 24 regions. This result shows that there are significant problems in the process of implementing the 2024 regional elections. One of the main problems corrected by the Constitutional Court is the fulfillment of the requirements for regional head candidates which is problematic in 11 regions. In addition, the Constitutional Court also showed its progressivity in interpreting TSM violations, which had been considered very difficult to prove. Therefore, Perludem will release the results of monitoring and analysis of the 2025 PHP-Kada trial.
